About the manufacturer
Romanee Conti
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the most legendary winery in the world – and rightly so. In Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of Burgundy, this institution cultivates just 1,8 hectares of some of France's most prized vineyards. Here, Wines are produced that set standards and melt the hearts of collectors.
What makes DRC so extraordinary? Its unwavering philosophy of perfection. Every grape is treated with almost obsessive care, and each Vintage reflects the terroir with absolute authenticity. The Wines – whether the velvety Pinot Noirs like Romanée-Conti or La Tâche, or the mineral White Wines like Le Montrachet – combine elegance, complexity, and an almost meditative depth.
DRC has been cultivating its vineyards biodynamically since 1947, long before it became fashionable. This isn't a marketing strategy, but a lived conviction. You can taste the dedication, the tradition, and the uncompromising standards in every sip.
At Wine In Time you will find a carefully selected range of these precious Wines – your access to the greatest Burgundy classics.

The 2007 Romanée-Conti La Tâche is among the most exceptional Wines from Burgundy and comes from the legendary monopole vineyard La Tâche in Vosne-Romanée. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti has cultivated this 6,06-hectare Grand Cru vineyard since 1933, producing Pinot Noirs of unparalleled complexity year after year. The 2007 Vintage is still showing restraint in its youth, but its monumental aging potential is already becoming apparent.
The vinification follows the estate's traditional principles: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, gentle extraction, and aging in new French oak barrels. Each parcel is vinified separately to precisely highlight the nuances of the terroir. The result is a wine of tremendous density and a finesse that only La Tâche can offer.
On the nose, a kaleidoscope of dark cherries, forest floor, truffles, and delicate spice notes unfolds. On the palate, the 2007 La Tâche displays a silky texture, complex fruit, and a minerality that stems from deep within the limestone. The finish is endless, characterized by elegant tannins and a freshness that lends the wine its sophistication.
