Les Referts, Referts
The Bachelet Monnot Les Referts 2020 is a Premier Cru Chardonnay from the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, one of the most prestigious vineyards in Burgundy . The Bachelet Monnot estate, run by brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet, combines tradition with precise cellar techniques to produce Wines that perfectly reflect terroir and craftsmanship.
The grapes for this Premier Cru come from the Les Referts vineyard, known for its calcareous soils, which impart the wine's characteristic minerality. After selective hand-harvesting, the must is fermented in Burgundy barrels and aged for months on the fine lees. The controlled use of barriques ensures structure without dominance, allowing the fruit to remain the focus.
On the nose, a buttery complexity unfolds with notes of ripe stone fruit, hazelnut, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, the Chardonnay is creamy yet vibrant, supported by a fine acidity that guarantees both freshness and depth. Citrus and mineral nuances accompany you through to the long, elegant finish, leaving you wanting another sip.
At Wine In Time you'll find this and many other exquisite White Wines with express delivery directly to your door in Vienna. Order the Bachelet Monnot Les Referts 2020 online and experience Burgundian wine culture at its finest.
Serve it slightly chilled at 10–12 °C with chicken, turkey or creamy fish dishes – a wine that enhances any occasion.
