The Pur Platin Rot 2016 is a remarkable Blaufränkisch from the Pur winery in Carnuntum, a region in Lower Austria known for its powerful yet elegant Red Wines. The Pannonian climate and mineral-rich soils here give rise to Wines of exceptional structure and finesse. This wine holds a special place in our Austrian wine collection.
The vinification of Pur Platin Rot is carried out with the utmost care: hand-harvesting, gentle maceration, and aging in French barriques give this Blaufränkisch its depth and complexity. The 2016 Vintage is now at its perfect drinking maturity; the youthful fruit is harmoniously integrated, and the tannins are silky and mature.
On the nose, a lightly perfumed bouquet of dark cherries, blackberries, and delicate spice notes unfolds. On the palate, the wine is elegant and refined, with a silky texture reminiscent of Burgundian Pinot Noirs. Fine acidity effortlessly supports the fruit, and the finish remains long, cool, and mineral – typical of Carnuntum's finest vineyards.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can find this exceptional Blaufränkisch with express delivery directly to your home. Discover our entire selection of Red Wines and conveniently order the Pur Platin Rot 2016 online.
