Cote Rotie La Landonne
The Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Landonne 2009 is one of the most iconic Wines of the Northern Rhône and comes from the legendary single vineyard La Landonne, known for its exceptionally powerful, long-aging Syrah Wines. The Guigal estate, synonymous with the highest quality for generations, vinifies this wine with unwavering dedication: extended maceration, traditional aging in new oak barrels for up to 42 months, and patient bottle aging before release. The result is a wine of monumental structure and impressive depth.
On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, revealing aromas of dark berries, black olives, roasted meat, smoky bacon, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate, the Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Landonne 2009 is powerful and dense, with a firm tannin structure, vibrant acidity, and remarkable concentration. Notes of blackcurrant, graphite, tobacco, and dark chocolate meld together to create a multifaceted flavor experience. The finish is long, spicy, and impressively precise – a wine that can age for decades.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you'll find not only this exceptional wine, but also our entire selection of Red Wines with express delivery directly to your door. Discover other outstanding Wines from the Rhône and conveniently order your favorites online.
