About the manufacturer
Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company
The Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company brings fresh energy from Denmark to your glass. This innovative distillery specializes in the art of fermented teas, creating a fascinating alternative to classic spirits and soft drinks. With products like Rod, Gron, and Bla – named after their characteristic colors – the company demonstrates the creative possibilities of working with natural ingredients and fermentation techniques.
What makes the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company special is its minimalist, natural approach. You won't find any artificial flavors or unnecessary additives here – instead, authentic flavor profiles from carefully selected, high-quality teas and botanicals. The range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options is particularly interesting: While Rod and Gron impress with their gentle alcohol content, Lysegron and Lyserod Alcohol-Free offer the same sophistication for any occasion.
The Danish philosophy of this brand combines Scandinavian clarity with a spirit of experimentation. The result is a range of drinks with character, perfect for enjoying neat or taking your cocktails in new directions. At Wine In Time, you'll find the full spectrum of these exceptional creations – for those who think outside the box.

Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company Gron is an innovative creation from the Danish capital, combining green tea, white tea, and lemongrass for a sparkling taste experience. The Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company is dedicated to the art of transforming high-quality teas into effervescent delicacies – a light, low-alcohol alternative for those who want to enjoy themselves consciously.
Gron is made by carefully selecting green and white tea leaves and combining them with fresh lemongrass, then undergoing natural fermentation to create a delicate effervescence. The result is a sparkling tea with only 5% alcohol, distinguished by its freshness and elegance. Free from artificial additives, each bottle develops its own unique character.
On the nose, delicate notes of lemongrass and floral hints of white tea unfold, accompanied by the green freshness of young tea leaves. On the palate, the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company Gron is lively and refreshing: lemony lightness meets the gentle bitterness of green tea, while the white tea contributes a silky texture. The finish is clean, invigorating, and with a touch of citrus freshness.
