Referts
The Etienne Sauzet Referts Premier Cru 2020 is an exceptional Chardonnay from the heart of Burgundy. The long-established Etienne Sauzet estate is among the leading producers in Puligny-Montrachet, cultivating its vines in the region's finest vineyards. The Premier Cru vineyard of Referts yields Burgundy Wines distinguished by their depth and elegance.
The wine is produced using traditional Burgundian methods: After careful hand-harvesting, the Chardonnay is aged in French oak barrels, where it develops its characteristic complexity. Aging on the fine lees imparts a buttery texture and creamy structure to the wine, without masking its crystalline freshness. The 2020 Vintage is considered an outstanding year in Burgundy, offering ideal conditions for concentrated, age-worthy White Wines.
On the nose, the Etienne Sauzet Referts 2020 reveals aromas of ripe apples, hazelnut, and a hint of honeydew melon. On the palate, a buttery richness unfolds, supported by fine minerality and lively acidity. Notes of brioche, stone fruit, and delicate vanilla alternate, while the long, elegant finish is characterized by a salty freshness.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you'll find this rare wine at fair prices with express delivery directly to your door. Discover other top Wines in our White Wine selection and order Burgundian elegance online.
