The Bonneau du Martray Corton Grand Cru 2009 is a rare wine from the heart of the Côte de Beaune. The Bonneau du Martray estate has cultivated its vineyards on the legendary Corton hill for centuries and is one of the most prestigious addresses in Burgundy . The 2009 Vintage is considered one of the great classics – a year that produced ripe, concentrated Pinot Noirs.
The wine is produced using traditional methods: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, gentle extraction, and aging in French oak barrels. This gives the Bonneau du Martray Corton Grand Cru a depth that few Wines achieve. No manipulation, just time and patience.
The nose reveals dark cherry, undergrowth, a touch of tobacco, and delicate spice notes. On the palate, it is hearty and classic: silky texture, ripe tannins, and precise acidity. The finish is long, complex, and elegantly restrained. A wine that never denies its origins.
